We had a blast at the Coastal and Estuarine Research Federation Biennial Meeting in Richmond, VA! Kate presented her work on interactions between grazing and wasting disease, Rachael presented on the decline of intertidal eelgrass in the San Juan Islands and impacts on fish communities, and Lillian presented a global synthesis of tidal marsh carbon sources. Plus lab collaborators Katya and Katrina presented on marsh carbon. Many new connections and insights, plus two organized sessions… whew.
